Azyy Studio is a fully remote, full-service design and consulting agency specializing in branding, websites, digital product design, and advertising. We partner with clients ranging from startups to enterprise brands, delivering high-craft creative work through a lean, senior-level team.

We're hiring an Account Director to own client relationships, drive growth across our book of business, and act as a trusted right hand to the founder. Being indispensable is one of our pillars. We aim to be the secret weapon for our clients, and we want someone who plays that role for the team.

Key Responsibilities

This role sits at the center of the studio. You're the primary client-facing leader on your accounts, the operator making sure projects deliver, and the person who can step in and be hands-on when it matters.

  • Own and grow client relationships: Lead a portfolio of accounts as the senior partner, deepen those relationships over time, and develop renewals and new business through your network and outbound efforts.

  • Shape proposals and commercials: Take the lead on scoping, pricing, and contracts. Bring your thinking on how to position each engagement, working in close partnership with the founder on strategy.

  • Run delivery: Keep projects on time, on budget, and on quality. Track hours, manage burndown, surface risks early, and clear blockers before they become problems.

  • Coordinate the team: Work side by side with designers, developers, and the creative director to keep work aligned and moving across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Keep the studio running: Own the operational backbone of client work, from contracts and invoicing to file organization and the systems that let the team move fast.

  • Re-engage past clients: Stay in touch with previous and dormant clients and find new ways to support them.

  • Represent Azyy: Present work confidently, build long-term trust with senior stakeholders, and show up well in case studies, events, and proposals.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years in client services or account leadership at an agency, with a track record of managing and growing multi-discipline accounts.

  • Studio Fluency: Deep understanding of how design and technology work gets made across branding, web, digital product, and marketing. You can speak the language and earn the trust of senior creatives and engineers.

  • Business Acumen: Strong command of scoping, pricing, contracting, and forecasting. You can build a deal and see it through.

  • Client Presence: Excellent presentation and communication skills. Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and earning their trust quickly.

  • Operational Instinct: Comfortable with the realities of running an agency, from hours tracking and invoicing to keeping files organized and the team unblocked. You hold multiple clients and projects in your head without dropping balls.

  • AI Forward: AI tools are already part of how you work across research, briefs, communication, and reporting. You bring techniques to the team, not just learn them.

  • Indispensable Mindset: You build trust by becoming the person clients and teammates can't imagine working without. Sharp, direct, and the kind of teammate who makes everyone around you better.

  • Ownership: Proactive, resourceful, and self-directed. You take responsibility for the full client relationship and the operational health of the work, and you can make the right calls when the founder isn't in the room.

Nice to Have

  • Industry Network: An existing network of decision-makers in tech, SaaS, healthcare, DTC, or another industry where we have natural fit.

  • Operations or Systems Background: Experience building internal systems like CRM, onboarding, reporting, or project management workflows at a previous agency. There's room to grow into broader operational ownership over time.

  • Design or Strategy Background: Time spent in a design or strategy seat before moving into account leadership, so you can speak craft fluently.
